The Fire on the Rock Chef Challenge is a battle between the area's best-known chefs. You have judged at the preliminary events- and sent the best chefs on to the final rounds!

Watch the battles LIVE ON STAGE at the Hayes Performing Arts Center. Chef teams must create three dishes using the Mystery Ingredient, which is revealed as the chefs take the stage. Teams have one hour to impress the judges, area food critics that will be scoring each dish. Watch it all on large screen televisions, and learn more about the chefs in exclusive interviews.

The Semi-finals will be held at 11am and 4pm on Saturday, April 16. The winners of those heats will compete in the Final starting at 2pm on Sunday, April 17. A single ticket for all three rounds can purchased.

The Blowing Rock Fire & Rescue Departments will be facilitating the event. Local firemen have always been community-minded and are excited about getting involved with the Blue Ridge Wine Festival. Our firemen help manage the event, educate attendees about fire safety, and provide fire watch protection during the competition.
